The film has a happy ending as Aman steps aside and let the couple marry and live their life happily at last. Anjali and Rahul soon meet in that camp and their feelings revive. Tina dies in childbirth, but had previously written a series of eight letters. Tina and Rahul marry and have a child, whom Tina names Anjali. Rahul feels lonely without his friend but forget her because of Tina. Anjali cannot bear the pain of loosing her friend and leaves college suddenly. One day, Rahul confesses his love for Tina to Anjali. This creates a love triangle for three friends. Probably prompted by a careless comment on his part that she had overheard, which equated love with friendship. But at the same time, Anjali realized that she has a love feeling for Rahul.
